393 ASC: Information Night and Lawyer Training

The Bench and Bar Committee for the Superior Court of Justice at 393 University (Family) is thrilled to announce a new project – 393ASC (Advice and Settlement Counsel).  Beginning in January, 2020, we will have 2 lawyers every Tuesday and Friday at 393 University Avenue to provide private Duty Counsel services on the 9^th floor.  Our roster lawyers will be available to provide summary advice on all family law matters, assist in negotiating consents, and even appear in Court.  Self represented litigants will be able to access these services by paying $200.00 per hour plus HST to the roster lawyer by eTransfer, cash or “Square”.

We are having an Information Night and Training Session on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 from 5:00p.m. to 6:30p.m. at the Epstein Cole LLP Dispute Resolution Centre at 393 University Avenue on the 20^th floor.

For more information, to register for the Information Night/Training and to download the application to be on the 393ASC roster, go tohttps://www.capyfamilylaw.com/393asc/.  Please note that, while attendance in person or online at the Information Night/Training and your completed application is necessary, we will finalize the roster by December 5, 2019.  To be considered on the roster you have to have practiced for a minimum of 5 years and have at least 50 per cent of your practice dedicated to family law.

Clients can attend for paid services whether or not they have domestic matters before any of the Courts.
