Elizabeth is the Principal of Hyde Family Solutions. Elizabeth’s practice is focused on providing family mediation, arbitration, mediation-arbitration, and parenting coordination services involving parenting plans, child and spousal support, and property division.  

Through her work over the past decade, Elizabeth has developed expertise in working with high-conflict families both during separation and with parents as a Parenting Coordinator when ongoing conflict continues following separation.  Elizabeth works with a team of professionals to ensure that each family is supported throughout their process.

Elizabeth also provides management and conflict resolution services to ADR organizations, and dispute resolution process design to address bullying in schools and communities. She is also a Dispute Resolution Officer in Ontario family courts in Barrie and Toronto.

Elizabeth’s experience includes several years as a public school educator working with special education needs children and seven years practicing family law in Toronto. In addition, Elizabeth spent ten years as the National Director of Professional Development at a national law firm before starting her ADR practice in 2010.

Elizabeth received her Master of Laws (ADR) at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2013 and is a sessional instructor in the LL.M. program. Elizabeth was an Adjunct Professor at Western University Law School, teaching mediation and negotiation.

Elizabeth is the Co-chair of the Parenting Coordination section of FDRIO,  past chair of the ADR section of the Ontario Bar Association ,and a past member of the Child and Youth Law section executive. Elizabeth’s memberships include OBA, OAFM, FDRIO, MBBI, and AFCC/O.
